Furthermore, a full range zoom gives total control over the beam size. Adding in the frost enables the coverage to be even wider! Finally, theatrical suitability is enhanced with extremely low noise levels, high CRI values, super-smooth L3™ dimming and our excellent tungsten emulation software. By combining the principals of the Fresnel or PC washes, and original beam light designs, we have produced a range of powerful, yet discreet, pixelated LED wash lights. All our fixtures offer Robe’s acclaimed L3™ dimming control, exquisite colour mixing and fully homogenised light beams. Each fixture has a wide zoom range for total flexibility within a stage or performance area. However, these are a lot more than just traditional wash lights! When your show requires many different nuances and moods plus big, bold, brash effects, fabulous colour and beams, these lights provide outstanding visuals. We have incorporated new, exciting effects and pixel mapping possibilities to make them totally, and realistically, multi-purpose‘ luminaires. They become not simply wash lights, but beam and effects lights too!

Robe produces four types of wash lights - Fresnel or PC lens moving heads, pixelated LED luminaires and hybrid fixtures. Our wash lights, with their instantly recognisable large Fresnel and PC front lenses, provide a fully controllable wash coverage from their usual position above the stage. Framing precision comes from a four-leaf, individually controlled, rotatable, internal barndoor system giving the same beam shaping ability as the original wash fixtures.
